Scar camouflage using Semi -Permanent Make up or sometimes referred to as Skin Pigment Micropigmentation is a technique where pigments are deposited into the upper dermis of the skin to match the surrounding skin tone and reduce the visibility of scars. Scar camouflage is suitable for : -Surgical scars (e.g. tummy tuck, C-section) -Injury or burn scars -Stretch marksAcne scars (in some cases) Hair transplant scars (FUT/FUE) Not suitable for: -Keloids or hypertrophic scars (raised/scarring prone) -Very new scars (usually less than 12 months old) -Unstable or discolored scars (red, purple, inflamed)
